Established in 2008, the BUPA London 10,000 is a 10 km run through the roads of St. James's Park, London.[1] The finish is on the mall by Buckingham Palace. It has become one of the most popular, mass participation 10k runs in the United Kingdom. In 2008, over 12,500 runners took part, with 8372 recorded finishers for the 2009 event. It is managed by the same organisers as the London Marathon.[2][3][4][5]
